Ethics Argument Builder
Ayla teaches English at a university. She built an ethics argument game for her students without writing a line of code.
Ayla teaches English at a university. She wanted to teach her students how to build an academic argument, but the ready-made tools she could find were either too shallow or did not fit her own syllabus. What she needed did not exist: ethical scenarios that change by department, counter-argument cards, and scoring that shows a student their progress.
In the workshop she wrote her own application with Claude Code. She set up six academic departments, from law to biology, with five ethical scenarios each and two counter-argument cards per scenario. She added a seven-stage scoring system that matches arguments against each other with the logic of a card game.
What came out is not an assignment — it is a tool she actually uses in class. Ayla had never written a line of code in her life.
